Developed by Red Tiger Gaming, Golden Leprechaun Megaways is a fun and interesting game that takes the players on a trip down to the Irish forests. Light musical tones are played when the reels are spun and come to a stop.

The loading screen displays the forest in the night time with twinkling stars and sparkles. Once the player selects the play option, a Leprechaun jumps in the screen and turns the night into day as well as brings up the game slot. This slot appears to be in a window of the Leprechaun’s house. It features 4 basic reels which can be later expanded to 7.

The symbols on the reels include the basic minors of 10, A, K, Q, and J as well as special symbols of four-leaved clover, a notebook, a mug of Guinness and a red coloured ribbon with the number 1 written on it. This ribbon is the most lucrative out of all symbols as it gives a payout of up to 50 times the existing stake when 6 of them are in a row.

Special features

One of the Leprechauns in the game is considered as the ‘Lucky Leprechaun’ as whenever it appears; the player is benefitted by some of the other special features. It can pop in over the slot at any random moment and offers a choice of three mushrooms. These mushrooms represent the three special features of the game which are :

Stacked Wilds – At most 4 stacked wilds, land on the slot that has a 7X multiplier attached.

Random Wilds – A maximum of 5 wild symbols can appear anywhere on the slot.

Lucky Ways – A change in the alignment of the symbols which gives the assurance of a win.

Bonus features

An exclusive ‘Lucky spins’ symbol appears on the slot, which triggers free spins. At least 3 of such symbols are required on the slot in any position at a given point. Once again, one of the three mushrooms has to be selected but this time, the benefits increase by several times as the frequency of winning in the lucky spins round is higher than that in the base game.

If the lucky spins symbols match in those free rounds repeatedly, the player can earn up to 5 additional spins for each extra card. Moreover, a multiplier of 1X is added to the win after each spin in a progressive manner. This can further increase the rewards until zero lucky spins card shows up.
